Real estate has been a part of my life for more than two decades. I purchased my first home at the age of 19, and that early experience sparked a lifelong passion for real estate, negotiation, and helping others achieve their goals.
I was born in Southern California and proudly call Irvine home, where I live with my wife, Brandy, and our fluffy white dog, Murphy. Over the years, I have worked throughout both Southern and Northern California, representing clients in every type of market and nearly every type of transaction imaginable. From first-time homebuyers purchasing their very first condo to luxury home sellers, investors, landlords, and tenants, I have built my business around providing knowledgeable guidance and strong advocacy.
One of the most defining periods of my career came during the Great Recession. As homeowners faced declining values, job losses, divorces, and financial hardship, I worked extensively with banks and loan servicers to help families navigate short sales, avoid foreclosure when possible, and obtain relief from underwater mortgages. Those experiences reinforced an important lesson: real estate is about much more than property. It is about people, families, and life-changing decisions.
One thing I quickly discovered is that obtaining a real estate license does not teach agents how to effectively negotiate on behalf of their clients. Yet negotiation is one of the most important skills a real estate professional can possess.
In 2013, I sought specialized training through The Real Estate Negotiation Institute (RENI), whose curriculum incorporates principles taught through the Harvard Program on Negotiation. I earned the Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designation and continued my advanced training, earning the prestigious Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE) designation in 2015.
Fewer than 1% of real estate agents nationwide have earned the MCNE designation.
This does not mean I can convince a seller to accept the price of a Camry for a Ferrari. What it does mean is that I have invested significant time studying negotiation strategy, communication, and conflict resolution so I can better protect my clients’ interests throughout the transaction.
In both 2002 and 2022, I passed the California licensing examinations on my first attempt. While I now hold a broker’s license and could operate independently, I continue to affiliate with Coldwell Banker Realty because of the resources, technology, and support they provide, allowing me to better serve my clients.
Throughout my career, I have been honored with numerous awards, including:
While I appreciate the recognition, the accomplishments I value most are the relationships I have built and the trust my clients place in me.
Buying or selling a home is one of the largest financial decisions most people will ever make. My role is to provide honest advice, effective negotiation, clear communication, and the experience necessary to help clients make informed decisions.
Whether you are purchasing your first home, selling a long-time family residence, building an investment portfolio, or navigating a challenging real estate situation, my goal is simple: to help you achieve the best possible outcome while making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
For me, real estate is about more than property. It is about helping people make smart decisions during some of life’s biggest transitions.
